The award winning Oakridge Restaurant offers delightful views over the grounds and boasts an RAC dining award. This hotel in the Peak District boasts 148 elegant bedrooms, and the building retains many of its impressive original features such as the elaborate painted domed ceiling over the main grand staircase. Designed by Thomas Emmett, and built in 1825, Shrigley Hall was built as the family home for William Turner, MP. In 1929 Shrigley Hall and 262 acres of land were sold to the Salesians order who built a church (now the Tilden Suite) and ran the hall as a missionary college for boys. The hall was lovingly converted into a hotel in 1989. You can dine in the Oakridge Restaurant or enjoy a drink in the Courtyard Bar. To complete your luxury stay at Shrigley Hall Hotel, let us pamper you in the hotel?s Beauty Rooms featuring a Nail Bar and Tranquility Place. Offering a wide range of spa and beauty treatments, the Beauty Rooms are the perfect place to relax and unwind. Open to hotel guests and local members alike, the Health Club at Shrigley Hall Hotel, Golf & Country Club offers a range of facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, fully equipped gym, and a fitness studio for classes.
